Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality education and care to children aged 0‑5 years, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards
• Support the developmental, social, emotional and cognitive growth of each child
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and the Orange ELC team
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment
• Participate in reflective practice, centre meetings and professional development
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, safety, and regulatory requirements

Requirements / Qualifications

• An ACECQA‑approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (e.g. Diploma, Certificate III, or Bachelor)
• Valid Working with Children Check (NSW)
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma certificates, or willingness to obtain
• Minimum 2 years experience working in an early childhood service (preferred)
• Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
• A passion for early childhood learning and development
