Salary offer: $75,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience)

Task & responsibilities

As an Early Childhood Teacher at Harmony, you will:

- Design, plan, and lead structured early learning programs across indoor and outdoor environments using age appropriate materials and equipment to support children’s cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development.

- Provide a broad range of learning experiences and activities that promote motor skills, cooperative social interaction, confidence, independence, and foundational understanding through play based and intentional teaching practices.

- Support children’s language and communication development through storytelling, music, role play, group discussions, and one on one interactions, adapting approaches to suit individual learning needs.

- Observe and assess children’s learning, development, behaviour, and wellbeing to monitor progress, identify emerging needs, and recognise any indicators of health, emotional, or developmental concerns.

- Ensure children’s health, safety, welfare, and nutritional needs are met at all times, and identify environmental or personal factors that may impact learning outcomes.

- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with families by regularly communicating children’s progress, participating in parent meetings, and supporting family engagement in the learning process.

- Actively participate in staff meetings, professional development, and centre initiatives, and contribute to a positive team culture aligned with early childhood education principles and regulatory standards.

- Support the broader educational community by engaging in relevant family and community programs and providing guidance or supervision to student educators when required.

Qualification & experience

- holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education that is ACECQA approved

- has a minimum of one year of full-time work experience in an Early Childhood Teacher role
