Salary: $85000 - $90000 AUD per annum plus superannuation.

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood (Pre-school) Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will plan, develop and implement educational programs in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). The role involves creating engaging learning environments, observing and documenting children’s development and progress, and tailoring learning experiences to individual needs. The teacher will communicate with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and work collaboratively with other educators and staff. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supervising children and ensuring their health, safety and wellbeing at all times.

Task & responsibilities

• Plan, document and implement educational programs and curriculums that comply with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Structure learning environments to support the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of children.
• Observe and record children’s growth, behaviour and progress to tailor learning experiences to individual needs.
• Discuss children’s progress with parents and guardians and participate in parent-teacher interviews.
• Supervise children at all times, ensuring their health, safety and wellbeing are prioritised.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a holistic approach to children’s care and education.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and centre events.

Qualification & experience

• Minimum Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or a higher relevant qualification recognised by ACECQA.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as an Early Childhood Teacher.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Current First Aid/CPR Certificates.
