Task & responsibilities

Planning and structuring learning in both indoor and outdoor environments using a variety of materials and equipment to facilitate child's development.

Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues based on trust, empathy, and open communication.

Providing a variety of experiences and activities to develop motor skills, cooperative social skills, confidence and understanding.

Observing and assessing child's to evaluate progress and to detect signs of ill health, emotional disturbance and other disabilities.

Promoting language and communication development through role play, songs, rhymes and informal discussions held individually and within groups.

Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support individual needs of each child.

Participate in parent's interviews , and employee and committee meetings.

Monitoring students’ nutritional wellbeing, overall welfare, and safety, while recognising factors that may affect their learning and development.

Qualification & experience

Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education/Teaching or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 1 year experience working as an Early childhood (Pre-Primary School) Teacher.

Working with Children Check registration and Emergency Certificates (First Aid etc).
