This position is for an enthusiastic, energetic and qualified Early Childhood Educator with a Diploma in Children’s Services to work with the 3-5's year age group. 

You will work in collaboration with a team of five, including the Room leader who is an Early Childhood Teacher, to promote and implement the educational program and practice of our service.

Task & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• teaching 3-5's year age group. 
• Implementing the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework in collaboration with your team
• programming, observations, and evaluating the program for social groups and the individual child, along with the other Early Childhood Educators.

Qualification & experience

• A Diploma of Children's Services
• 12 months or more work experience at Diploma Educator level, ln particular with the 3-5 year age group
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Asthma Management in the workplace Certificate
• Current Anaphylaxis Management in the workplace Certificate
• Current Working with Children Check
• Training and experience in Child Safe Standards
• The ability to work well in a team and to adapt to new situations
• Strong knowledge of the development and implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Experience in IT technology required for documentation and children’s portfolios
• Leadership and commitment towards the centre's goals, philosophy and vision
• Motivation and passion for children’s wellbeing and education
• Excellent personal presentation and a professional approach to early childhood education and care and its stakeholders
• A strong understanding of NSW Children's Services Regulation and National Quality Framework and Standards
