Task & responsibilities

• Planning and structuring learning in both indoor and outdoor environments using a variety of materials and equipment to facilitate child's development.
• Developing and implementing play-based learning programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues based on trust, empathy, and open communication.
• Providing a variety of experiences and activities to develop motor skills, cooperative social skills, confidence and understanding.
• Observing and assessing child's to evaluate progress and to detect signs of ill health, emotional disturbance and other disabilities.
• Promoting language and communication development through role play, songs, rhymes and informal discussions held individually and within groups.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support individual needs of each child.
• Participate in parent's interviews , and employee and committee meetings.
• Monitoring students’ nutritional wellbeing, overall welfare, and safety, while recognising factors that may affect their learning and development.

Qualification & experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education/Teaching or ACECQA approved equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year experience working as an Early childhood (Pre-Primary School) Teacher.
• Working with Children Check registration and Emergency Certificates (First Aid etc).
• Teacher accreditation with NESA.
