We are searching for a Music Teacher who has experience with children and teens as well as adults.

Task & responsibilities

• Deliver individual and group music lessons to students across varying skill levels
• Teach practical and theoretical components of music education
• Prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum and student development goals
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Prepare students for examinations, performances, and recitals
• Maintain accurate student records and lesson documentation
• Contribute to performances, workshops, and school events as required

Qualification & experience

• Relevant qualification in Music or Music Education (Bachelor Degree level or higher)
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience as a Music Teacher
• Strong knowledge of music theory and practical performance
• Ability to teach one or more instruments (to be specified if required)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with children, adolescents, and adult learners
• Valid Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Desirable:

• Experience teaching in Australia
• Ability to teach multiple instruments or styles
• Experience preparing students for AMEB or equivalent examinations
