As our RTO Quality and Compliance Officer, you'll be the driving force behind maintaining our Registered Training Organisation’s (RTO) gold-standard compliance with Australian regulations. From internal audits and policy updates to ensuring our trainers are up-to-date and our data is clean, you’ll play a central role in delivering trusted, top-tier training to both our Surf Life Saving Queensland (SLSQ) Club Members and commercial clients.

What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Maintain compliance with the Standards for RTOs, VET Quality Framework, ASQA requirements, and relevant legislation.</li>
<li>Conduct internal audits, quality assurance reviews, and compliance monitoring activities.</li>
<li>Manage regulatory reporting requirements, including AVETMISS, Quality Indicators, DTET and other VET reporting obligations.</li>
<li>Develop, review, and maintain RTO policies, procedures, compliance documentation, and quality frameworks.</li>
<li>Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including corrective action plans and quality reviews.</li>
<li>Maintain trainer and assessor qualification, competency, and currency records.</li>
<li>Ensure accuracy and compliance of student data, records, and reporting within aXcelerate and other education systems.</li>
<li>Oversee compliance of learning management systems, online enrolment platforms, websites, and education-related digital resources.</li>
<li>Support training product development, resource reviews, mapping activities, and training package transitions.</li>
<li>Build compliance awareness across the organisation through stakeholder engagement, training, audit coordination, and best-practice quality assurance processes.</li>

About You:
Essential
<ul>
<li>Hold a Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to obtain one).</li>
<li>Successfully complete a National Police Check (or be willing and able to obtain one prior to commencement).</li>
<li>TAE50116 Diploma or TAE40122 Cert IV in Training &amp; Assessment (or equivalent).</li>
<li>3+ years’ experience in an RTO environment.</li>
<li>Experience in processing awards, certificates or similar tasks. </li>
<li>Experience in preparing or validating data for AVETMISS reporting and ensuring data quality with Student Management System.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of the VET sector, ASQA standards, and compliance frameworks.</li>
<li>Confident with internal audits, risk management, and closing compliance gaps.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and everything in between.</li>
<li>Experience with aXcelerate or similar Student Management Systems.</li>
<li>Proficient in MS Office.</li>
<li>A natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.</li>
<li>Great at juggling priorities, solving problems, and keeping calm under pressure.</li>
</ul>
