The role also involves guiding educators, supporting children’s development and building respectful partnerships with families.&nbsp; <h3>Benefits</h3>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A full-time role within a supportive early-childhood education team.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Opportunities for professional development and reflective practice.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The opportunity to guide educators and contribute to continuous service improvement.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;A welcoming workplace committed to quality, inclusion and children’s wellbeing.&nbsp; <h3>Task & responsibilities</h3>•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop, implement and evaluate inclusive, play-based educational programs.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Plan learning experiences based on children’s developmental needs, strengths and interests.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Observe, assess and document children’s learning and progress.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Create safe, welcoming and stimulating physical and social learning environments.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ensure programs comply with the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Quality Standard.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Build respectful relationships with children, families, educators and community professionals.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Consult with families regarding their children’s participation, development and progress.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lead and support educators, students and volunteers in professional practice.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Model effective early-childhood teaching practices and encourage reflective practice.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Maintain accurate records relating to enrolment, attendance, health, wellbeing and curriculum delivery.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support children’s health, safety, inclusion and overall wellbeing.•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Comply with child-protection, workplace health and safety, and organisational requirements.&nbsp; <h3>Qualification & experience</h3>Applicants must have:•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;a recognised Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;current NSW Education Standards Authority accreditation, or eligibility to obtain it;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;experience developing, implementing and evaluating early-childhood curricula;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Quality Standard;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;knowledge of child development and play-based learning;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;strong written and verbal communication skills;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an early-childhood education team; and•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;a commitment to reflective practice and continuing professional development.&nbsp;The successful applicant must hold or be able to obtain:•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;a current Working With Children Check;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;a National Criminal History Record Check;•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;an approved Child Protection certificate; and•&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;current approved first-aid qualifications, including CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis management.An understanding of the Catholic faith and a willingness to support and work in harmony with the Parish’s values, mission and code of conduct are required.&nbsp;
